Where Light Fades The Abyss is the deepest part of the ocean, where light fades and darkness hides creatures so terrifying that the mind quakes before their reality. The imagination paints a fearful landscape of writhing creatures and twisting weeds, shown only by the glow of their eyes and their shadows blocking even that small glimmer of light in the Cobalt deep. The movement of invisible creatures, veiled by the depths, is felt more than seen in rippling currents that circle the sea’s inky Nightshade water. Illumination barely penetrates the deep, revealing layers of ever lightening color above. The deep teals of Mallard give way to the glow of Blue-green and the shimmer of Marine. The yellow circle of the sun’s radiance is a far away beacon in the Abyss.
