Made for a DMAQG president’s challenge in 2018. The challenge was to use 50/50 complimentary colors. I stacked and cut the two fabrics to ensure that they were included in exactly equal amounts. It is improvisationally pieced, quilted with overlapping grids and accented with big stitch hand quilting.
